Kintsugi: A Marble Vase

Kintsugi: Marble Vase
Adding on to the list of damaged objects picked off the streets was this marble vase, not sure what this was used for, but broken it was on the roadside. I narrowed down to using Araldite for the joints. The closet thing I had to adding some bling to these joints was aluminum foil. I thought, well if Araldite can join stones why not a metal foil? I guess that's not how the universe works: the foil refused to adhere! Strokes with gold metallic paint did the job.
This is my first every Kintsugi project. I realized that fixing the final piece is the most tricky part. With the adhesive in between, every other piece would have been displaced by a fraction which add-up: the final piece just refused to snugly fit especially with curved pieces.
